Banal Muffins Interview

I was recently interviewed by WordPress for a Discover feature –  it has made me feel quite real and it’s also the first time I’ve ever been referred to as a musician (here’s to the power of veg). So if you wanted to know how these strange images and words emerge from my brain, then here’s the link to the interview:

  1. So interesting how you describe the interface between existential freedom and thought through these intangible representations of food items. Not sure if you’ve ever heard of Tom Robbins? My friend recently introduced me to him through his 5th novel “Skinny Legs and All”. Very interesting read and deals with existentialism through various mediums. You should give the novel a try. Pretty humorous too. But what you’re doing is incredible – keep it up!

    • Thank you very much – I find that macarons are more enjoyable when they are both a lovely patisserie item and a metaphor for existential angst. I’ve not heard of Tom Robbins but I just looked him up and his books seem interesting – will definitely check out ‘Skinny Legs and All.’ Thanks for stopping by!
